Nothing says fall quite like a visit to an apple orchard. Take some photos amongst Beak & Skiff’s 300,000 trees, then stick around to pick your own.

Beaver Lake Nature Center’s nine trails wind through wetlands, forests, meadows, a bog, and more – the photo opportunities are endless!

Franklin Square Park:
If you’re looking for a more urban setting, check out Franklin Square Park. It includes arbors and a fountain, all surrounded by industrial buildings.

Green Lakes State Park:
This popular swimming and hiking spot is also a great backdrop for fall photos – especially its two meromictic lakes, Green Lake and Round Lake.

Highland Forest:
Dubbed the “Adirondacks of Central New York,” Highland Forest is home to more than 20 miles of trails. But the best view of the surrounding hills (and fall foliage) is from the Skyline Lodge.

Tim’s Pumpkin Patch:
Pose in front of rows of pumpkins or a vintage truck. When you’re done, take advantage of the many activities the farm offers: apple cannons, tractor-wagon rides, a corn maze, a hay fort, and a grain pit.
